Your data, your device
RecipeVault stores recipes, meal plans, and grocery lists in this browser's IndexedDB. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. Clearing your browser data (or switching browsers/devices) means you'll need to restore from a backup.
Shopping address
Save where you shop (Canada and the US). Grocery-list items will show nearby stores and flyer prices — tap a price to open that store's website.
Pantry staples
Things you always have on hand. These are automatically skipped when a grocery list is generated, so you stop buying salt every week.

Works offline: your recipe library, cook mode, timers, the meal planner, and grocery lists. Needs a connection: importing a recipe from a URL and looking up store prices — both fetch live data from the web.
Install as an app
RecipeVault is a Progressive Web App. Install it on your phone or computer for a full-screen, offline experience — no App Store or Google Play account required.
- Open this site in Chrome, Edge, or Safari.
- Look for the install icon in the address bar, or the browser menu item Install RecipeVault / Add to Home Screen.
- Confirm. The app opens in its own window, with your recipes stored on this device.
